HOTEL PICK UP IN MARRAKECH AND EXPLORING AIT BENHADDOU UNESCO KASBAH - THEN VISIT ATLAS STUDIOS IN OUARZAZATE AND EXPLORING DADES GORGES:

Our private Marrakech New Year tour with hotel pick up starts with Tours Morocco Trips today and we drive towards the Atlas mountains and its highest point at Tizi ‘n’ Tichka. You visit Berber villages on the way to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Here you enjoy lunch meal and you explore the largest and most filmed Kasbah in Morocco. It is a UNESCO World heritage site where movies like “Gladiator” were filmed. We drive to Ouarzazate, oto visit local Atlas film studios. You will explore fascinating “Road of the thousands Kasbahs” before you reach the village of “Kalaat Mgouna”. Here you may purchase local rose products. You finish the day in “Dades Valley” where you spend the night in local Moroccan riad with dinner. The next day we celebrate New Year in Morocco.

DECEMBER 31 :

TRAVEL FROM DADES GORGES - EXPLORING TODGHA GORGES & HIKING - VISIT ERFOUD FOSSILS - CELEBRATE NEW YEAR IN MERZOUGA AND CAMEL RIDE TO DESERT CAMP:

Thank you for exploring Morocco with Tours Morocco Trips. Today we start our 2nd day of Marrakech desert tour exploring Dades Valley , visiting place around rock formation “The monkey toes” and afterwards you enjoy short hike in “Todgha valley”. It is amazing canyon famous for rock-climbers. We reach city of Erfoud to visit local fossil shops. We pass Rissani ,and our day finishes in Merzouga. From here we prepare for camels ride into desert camp to celebrate New Year in Marrakech Sahara trip. You explore desert dunes before we reach the Merzouga camp. After traditional and special dinner we gather at campfire where we enjoy Berber music and we celebrate New Year. Overnight in tents.

JANUARY 1:

CAMEL RIDE TO MERZOUGA VILLAGE - VISIT RISSANI - AND PRIVATE TRANSFER BACK TO MARRAKECH

On the last day of our Marrakech 3 day New Year tour our camel guide wake you up to watch the amazing sunrise over the Merzouga dunes. We ride camels backwards to the village for breakfast and then we continue towards Marrakech passing Agdez , Draa Valley and Ouarzazate.
